Collodion Photography

im really excited about this process of photography called Collodion. in a digital world, its nice to step away from high resolutions and pixels for a moment. this 18th century style of photography is what you see every time you see a picture of Abraham Lincoln.
Roberts camera was newly constructed in the same way the original 18th century cameras were built. the lens is an actual lens from the 18th century that he found, of course, on ebay.
put an artistic format like this in the hands of a bunch of creative people and you get something extra ordinary.
enjoy

All about Marco Guglielmino

www.marconyc.com

Marco's sixteen years in the beauty industry have not only provided him with a wealth of experience but have also earned him great respect in the fashion industry. He began his freelance career in Tokyo, where he picked up an Eastern concept of hair styling as art as well as new attitudes toward color and cut. In his quest to learn and share his experiences, he has continued to travel the world as a master colorist and educator. In his collaboration with members of the entertainment and fashion industries, Marco's work has been showcased worldwide.

In his private and intimate studio in SoHo, NYC, Marco adapts his technical skills in cutting and coloring to each client. "My goal with every client," Marco says, "is to create that perfect haircut based on bone structure, body shape, lifestyle, and overall image. I use color in a modern way to create a luxurious texture within the hair, leaving it shimmery and full of movement."

Marco's stylings have hit the red carpet on the heads of Susan Sarandon, Hillary Duff and Tyra Banks. His work has also appeared on television, in magazines and on the runways of such designers as Tracy Reese, Cynthia Rowley, Carlos Campos, Project Runway, Andy and Deb, Jill Stuart, L.A.M.B., Zac Posen and Future Fashion.
